The first day of Art Now for Autism’s reverse auction was a whirlwind! 24 pieces sold and over $2,100 was raised. Very exciting! Today is sure to bring lots more sales as buyers have learned not to wait for their favorite piece! Prices will drop tomorrow at 9am to $60.

Please remember if you have purchased art that you need to pay for it via the link to the Autism Speaks donation page or by check. Art will not be shipped until we receive your payment. If you have questions about this, you can email Claudine at artnow@artnowforautism.com.

Today’s featured art is Lise Menu Noack’s Untitled. Lise is one of two French artists participating in Art Now for Autism. The other is Louloupi. We appreciate their reach across the ocean to help with this cause!

This seemed like the perfect piece for a sunny Sunday morning. This is  Jean’s second year participating in Art Now for Autism. Jean writes, “The painting started with a complexity of colors, shapes and textures. I worked to reduce these elements by eliminating some and selecting others, to create a more dramatic composition.” To see more of her work, please visit www.jeanhearst.com.

Tomorrow is finally the day when the reverse auction begins! All art will be available at 9am for $90. If you need a reminder, please email Claudine.

SPECIAL NOTE: The exhibit will be unavailable starting at 9pm this evening for 1-2 hours while things are set-up for the reverse auction. The reverse auction will start promptly at 9am EST on Monday, October 5th.
