Art Now for Autism 2009 – Our final donation total is $4,730 which I think is terrific! If you add in money raised through our cause page on Facebook… $271… We have a grand total of $5,001!

You can still contribute to the cause by making a donation through our Autism Speaks’ donation page or by purchasing t-shirts, hats, and bags in our Cafe Press shop.

I greatly appreciate everyone’s participation, support, publicity help, etc! I could go on and on for quite some time about the long list of people that help me make this happen!

I have sent messages to all of the artists whose work has sold. Everything is in the process of shipping with the exception of three pieces that I am waiting for donors on.  Below is a list of all the art that sold.  If you have any questions about your art, please email me.

That’s all for now! I will let everyone know plans for next year some time in the Spring. I am working with another artist on plans for a second Art Now event… fingers crossed.

THANK YOU!!!!

Kids with autism are cool cats

THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!
THANK YOU!

Art Now for Autism 2009 has come to a close! Saturday was the last day for this year’s exhibit and reverse auction. We have raised over $4,700!

You can still contribute to the cause by making a donation through our Autism Speaks’ donation page or by purchasing t-shirts, hats, and bags in our Cafe Press shop. (The design above can be found there.)

Many thanks to all of our artists and donors! We could not have done this without you! I hope you will participate again next year!

Notes for buyers: Artists will be shipping art directly to the buyers this year. Please allow a little extra time as the art is shipping from around the United States and beyond. Art will not be shipped until Claudine has confirmation of your donation to Autism Speaks – either through their web site or by check. Any orders not paid by October 15th will be cancelled. Please contact Claudine if you have questions.

Please be sure to visit our artists’ web sites and support their art! They are such a gifted group who realize the importance of helping others. Click here to visit the artist link page.

Be sure to stop by the blog of Beth Wheeler, who just released a new book, Next Steps In Altered Photo Artistry. She has posted a padfolio project on her site in celebration. Also – see her video on The Quilt Show with Ricky Tims and Alex Anderon. Congrats to Beth! Can’t wait to see it in my local bookstore!

It is Day 5 of Art Now for Autism’s Reverse Auction! Do you know what that means? All available art is now $30! That is an incredible price for original art. Things are flying out the door quickly so please go look now. To make it easier, I set up a featured products section which includes only art that is still available. GO NOW! BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

Over $4,200 has been raised so far! Tomorrow is the last day!

Please help us spread the word about Art Now for Autism by forwarding, tweeting, posting, blogging, and talking about Art Now for Autism! 100% of art sales will go to Autism Speaks through their National Walk Now for Autism Speaks event.

We appreciate your support!
