This seemed like the perfect piece for a sunny Sunday morning. This is  Jean’s second year participating in Art Now for Autism. Jean writes, “The painting started with a complexity of colors, shapes and textures. This is one of the pieces by my son Jacob. Since I am an artist, my sons frequently have art time at home. In a recent painting session, I asked Jacob if he could cover the piece entirely with paint. So he counted out 18 brushstrokes as he painted and then painted the number 18. I think it turned out spectacular!

It is the second day of the exhibit preview. Everyone is chomping at the bit to begin the auction, and we have had very heavy traffic on the site. The reverse auction will begin promptly at 9am on Monday, October 5th with all pieces being $90. And yes, I expect a lot to go quickly Monday morning. So if you have a favorite piece that you have to have, go and get it at 9am on Monday! If you would like a reminder email about the auction, please click here.
